I’ve had Sao Paulo in my life for years and years now (since college! around 2002) and I cannot remember once being disappointed by their food or service. Last week, I reunited for the first time in months over lunch with coworkers and it was comfortingly delicious. I ordered the Moqueca Bahiana ($11.95) which is a fish fillet (I chose Tilapia) sauteed with tomatoes, onions, peppers and cilantro in a rich and creamy coconut sauce. It’s served with Jasmine rice and a side of yucca porridge. Always order the yucca with cheese as an appetizer if you make it here! :)
