This past weekend, I finally got around to trying Polkadots Cupcake Factory. I took my little from Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America and she cheesed it up for the camera for me.
We each picked a cupcake to split and I also bought my roommate one to take back.
My little’s pick: Chocolate Strawberry. I’m so glad she picked it because I favored it over mine. Who was I to think I could resist chocolate?
My pick: Honey Chai
The cakes are moist and fluffy. Is there anything worse than a dry cupcake? But what really sealed the deal was the icing. Icings are usually too sweet and thick for me and I prefer the lighter varieties. I’ve just come to accept that I’ll be wiping off icings off most of my cakes. I won’t be wiping off the icing from Polkadots’ cupcakes!
