All the Heart Eyes for These Valentine’s Day Specials in the Triangle

I have a life-long love affair with Valentine’s Day. I welcome any excuse to celebrate love. Plus, heart-shape is my favorite shape, and I love the color pink 🤷. Here’s a helpful guide of Valentine’s Day Specials in the Triangle to inspire you to make some delicious memories with someone you love, be it a significant other or a bestie. I hope you let yourself get swept away with the spirit of love and celebration!

Where to Grab dinner on Valentine’s Day in the Triangle

High Horse

High Horse will run a 4-course Valentine special. The first course will set the mood with aphrodisiac like oysters and caviar. Top Chef Katsuji has a talent for seducing your tastebuds with his creations.

Whiskey Kitchen

Whiskey Kitchen will be helping Hope Animal Rescue to raise awareness, and hopefully find loving homes for the organization’s rescue pups! Whiskey Kitchen will donate one dollar for every Elijah Craig Rye pour on Valentine’s Day from 5 pm to 9 pm, and Elijah Craig will be matching these donations. They also have a “Words of Affirmation” Valentine’s Day cocktail, named after my favorite love language!

Rosewater Kitchen

Valentine's Day Specials in the Triangle

Rosewater Kitchen and Bar will have 3-course prix fixe meals for $65 per person excluding wine pairing (additional $35). You’ll have 2-3 choices to choose from per course. Options include beet gnocchi, forbidden rice with wild exotic mushrooms, sea bass with lump crab, and beef tenderloin. What a dreamy meal to nibble on while you gaze at your beloved.

Join 41Hundred for five courses featuring scallops, steak, potato, and leek soup, and an impressive dessert table to end on an even higher note.

La Farm

La Farm is doing a 3-course for two for 85 dollars with an option to add a wine tasting for an additional 15 dollars. I peeped their menu and decided I’d go with either the Eggplant Puff Pastry for the second course or the chicken! Peep their mouthwatering Valentine menu for yourself!


Kipos will have live music on Valentine’s Day from 5 pm to 10:30 pm. There will be aphrodisiac flavors and candle-light. Make your reservations by calling 919.425.0760 or visit their website.


Crossroads in Chapel Hill is offering three-course prix fixe menus, with your choice of either grilled beef tenderloin or a seared North Carolina fish. You can see their full Valentine’s Menu on their site.

Il Palio

Il Palio is my favorite fine dining restaurant in Chapel Hill. I always feel even luckier when I get Maximo as our server. The service here is impeccable. For Valentine’s Day, they’re offering a four-course menu that made me drool just reading it. Marinated Beef Carpaccio, shaved grana padano, black truffle vinaigrette? Talk about swoon-worthy. City Kitchen

City Kitchen in Chapel Hill will have a special prix fixe sweetheart menu and live music from February 14th to 16th. To reserve call 919.928.8200.

Washington Duke

Washington Duke is offering a three-course meal for $79 a person. You can see the delicious full menu here. To top off the night, Chef Jason will be sending every couple home with chocolate-dipped strawberries!

Mia Francesca

Mia Francesca will have Valentine specials running from February 12 to 16, accommodating a more flexible Valentine schedule. Offerings include Gamberetto Fritto (crispy rock shrimp with smoked yogurt), heart-shaped ravioli stuffed with five cheeses, and more!

Morgan Street Food Hall

If over 20 vendor options to choose from, Morgan Street Food Hall will be celebrating love by hosting a string quartet on Valentine’s Day! They’ll also have beer and wine tastings and a $14 champagne special.

Hibernian Pub

Hibernian Pub is doing a Valentine’s Day Three-Course Dinner for two for $50. with option to add a bottle of house red or white wine or champagne for $15.

Urban Axes Durham hosting both Anti-Valentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day

If you roll your eyes at Valentine’s Day, find good company in Urban Axes on the 13th when they host their Anti-Valentine’s Day! If you’re like me and LOVE celebrating Valentine’s Day regardless of relationship status, join them for their Valentine’s Day celebration.

Raleigh Rolls is doing a monthly chef’s series and for the month of February, they’re collaborating with Chef Teddy of Coronato. This special treat is only available throughout February so don’t miss out!  Coronato Tiramisu Rolls will have Chef Teddy Diggs’ signature “coffee soil,” marscapone whipped cream, Amarena cherries, and gold glitter.
