Back in college, whenever I visited Houston, I would meet with my friend Cindy. She introduced me to Ruggle’s White Chocolate Bread Pudding. For a few years there, we shared our loyalty and love to a this divine dessert. I’ve never ordered anything else at Ruggles. They torch the surface to golden brown, giving it a slight crunch, which gives way to a luscious white chocolate bread pudding filling. It’s been maybe 4 years since I’ve last had this and last weekend while in Houston, I found myself being struck with a random memory of this dessert. I impulsively dragged a friend to Ruggles to see if they still had this charming and decadent bread pudding.
They did. I was happily reunited and it felt so good.
