We had a little informal Christmas party at my day job last week. Someone brought in a homemade gingerbread house! I’ve only made a few dinky ones with milk cartons and graham crackers in elementary school but this one was all legit! She baked her own gingerbread and everything was edible. I slacked and didn’t get to snap before pictures except for this hasty one as birthday girl started to deconstruct the house.

The windows were made by melted Jolly Ranchers. Isn’t that fantastic? Melted Jolly Ranchers!

Beautiful Jolly Rancher star-shaped windows.
