This post about this new watermelon gummy rings craft beer from Sheetz is sponsored by Sheetz. Thank you for supporting the brands that support Girl Eats World.
Starting today, September 11, you can grab a limited-edition Watermelon Gummy Rings Craft Beer from Sheetz, made with their popular candy! This beer, a collaboration between Sheetz and Richmond, VA brewery Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, is cheekily named “Project Watt-Ahh-Melon Ring.â€
I had the pleasure of attending a sneak preview virtual happy hour tasting with representatives from Sheetz and the owners of Hawdywood Park Craft Brewery and can confirm that it’s light and perfect for soaking in the last doggone days of summer.
Sheetz and Hardywood Park Craft Brewery introduce “Project Watt-Ahh-Melon Ring.â€
During the virtual happy hour, I, along with other NC influencers, got to learn more about the Sheetz beer project. Starting in May of this year, Sheetz has been collaborating with breweries to create unique flavor craft beers. Previous collaborations included a hot dog beer (Project Hop Dog) and a blueberry muffin beer, (Project Brewery Muffinz.)
The last beer collaboration sold out in 5 days! So if that is not a clue to hurry up and get your hands on Project Watt-Ahh-Melon Ring, I don’t know what is! Brewed with 100 lbs of Sheetz watermelon gummy rings, this fruity and tart wheat ale is the perfect complement to the last days of summer!
Project Watt-Ahh-Melon Ring will be sold in packs of four for $7.99 across VA and NC. You can find location information here. It will not be restocked once sold out.
So, what do you think? Would you drink a watermelon gummy candy beer?
