I was recently invited to experience Dollywood during their famous Flower & Food Festival that runs April 23-Jun 7. It was my first time experiencing the magic of Dollywood theme park, made even better with a stay at Dollywood DreamMore Resort! Here are just 7 beautiful reasons why you should book your lodging at this resort for your next Dollywood adventure. At the end of the post is more info on a Dollywood giveaway!
1. Delicious Food
Pictured above is a wine and cocktail pairing dinner at Song & Hearth, the on-site site-down restaurant. I had dinner there and was floored by the quality and artistry of both the entrees and the cocktails! AND, their wine list is extensive. Just look at those cocktails! Song & Hearth has a buffet-style breakfast in the mornings with heart-shaped waffles to further delight you. There is also a little cafe in the lobby with Starbucks and fresh-baked pastries!
2. Pools, Playgrounds, Fire Pits, oh, my!
The amenities at DreamMore Resort and Spa are plentiful! Multiple heated pools, including an indoor pool! A fitness center and game room. An expansive outdoor playground for the kids. The indoor game room even has an air hockey table! There are a few intimate fire pits around the property for you to enjoy. Rocking chairs are also plenty for you to sit and just simply take a moment.
3. Dollywood DreamMore Resort has nightly s’mores around the fire!
From 7 to 9 pm, weather permitting, you can reserve some time around one of the fire pit outside for s’mores. If you follow me on Instagram, you can see some of this documented in my Dollywood IG Highlights. It’s great fun. You’re never too old for s’mores. (Anyone else think of The Sandlot when they think s’mores?)
4. Bedtime Stories for the Kids
And speaking of fire pits, the resort hosts bedtime fun with storytelling around a fire pit every night at 8 pm (weather permitting!). All the books are from Dolly Parton’s famous Imagination Library, a program that Dolly started more than 20 years ago, providing every child in Dolly’s Sevier County with a book every month from the time they are born to the age of 5.
5. Pampering at the On-Site Spa at Dollywood DreamMore Resort
The spa on the Dollywood DreamMore Resort is a great place to further unwind while you’re staying on the property. They have massage rooms for both individuals and couples available, and you can treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure too! Pictured is the pretty waiting room from the spa.
6. Cozy Living Rooms and Patio Spaces to Lounge or Work
Walking around the communal spaces of Dollywood DreamMore Resort there are so many cozy nooks and crannies. From the living rooms where you can enjoy a quiet board game or cup of coffee to little tables facing the window with views of the gorgeous pool. During my two nights there, I observed a young boy doing his virtual schooling from such a table! I even spied a cushioned cubby-like nook you can sit in under the lobby staircases. Also, nestled underneath the lobby’s staircase is this gorgeous wooden box of a song Dolly wrote, to be released on her 100th birthday!
7. Dollywood DreamMore Resort has Dollywood Perks!
For those who have Dollywood tickets staying at the Dollywood DreamMore Resort, there are some perks that come with the stay! You get a complimentary Dollywood Time-Saver ($44/person value.). The Dollywood Timeserver can be used for eight select rides and unlimited daily show reservations when applicable (not valid at Dollywood’s Splash Country.) Also, The DreamMore Trolley can transport you directly from the resort to Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country. If you don’t want to take advantage of the trolley, guests of the resort can also park for free at the parks which saves you the standard parking fee of $20 per day, per vehicle.
But, wait. There’s more! Guests with tickets also has early Saturday access to select rides! And finaly, as guests to the resort there is an exclusive theme park entrance you can take advantage of!
And that concludes my list of beautiful reasons to stay at Dollywood DreamMore Resort and Spa! I hear it’s absolutely wonderful during Christmas and now I’m dreaming of a Christmas stay!
