Exactly a week ago, Best Friend and I tried to hit up Mike and Patty’s for breakfast in Boston. We were disappointed and a bit heart broken to find that not only were they closed on Mondays but also Tuesdays! I was due to fly out Tuesday afternoon. We sighed and consoled ourselves with some diner food from Deluxe Town Diner in Watertown, Massachusetts. I’ve eaten here before and it’s solid diner food. However, what I wanted to specifically call attention to is that I had chili in an omelet. I’ve never been to a place where this was an option!
It was wonderful.
