I was sent samples of these fun new stuffed breads aptly named Middles in exchange for my honest opinion. Middles are frozen foods that you can heat up either by popping them in the oven or the microwave. I opted to use the oven and did a taste comparison. They heat up easily (just 7-9 minutes in the oven), and are fun and tasty!
Everything Bagels with Cream Cheese Filling Middles
The Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese Filling Middles are perfect for bagel lovers. I love customizing them by adding a small dab of roasted garlic and onion jam. It really elevates the pillowy Middles.
Plain Bread with Mac and Cheese Filling Middles
You already know I’m a fan of mac and cheese as filling. These were also fun and I imagine would make an easy afterschool snack. I love my mac and cheese with splashes of hot sauce, so I did just that with my Plain Bread with Mac and Cheese Filling Middles.
Salty Pretzel with Beer Cheese Filling Middles
Lastly, the Salty Pretzel and Beer Cheese Filling Middles were my favorites of the three. I didn’t add anything to improve my experience and they were addictive! The bread had a garlicy flavor and the beer cheese was just the right amount of savory.
I’ll have a hard time resisting Middles, particularly the beer cheese ones if I ever see them in my grocery stores. They’re being sold in stores soon so look for them and tell me what you think!
