I am so grateful to Franish Nonspeaker for recommending Flour, a popular bakery in Boston with three locations. BFF and I both agree that we have to add Flour to Mike and Patty’s as our regular breakfast places in Boston. We stopped by Flour first thing on Friday and split a mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto pocket and a chocolate banana bread pudding.
The pocket was airy, the tomato and mozzarella fresh, and who doesn’t like pesto? Every bite we had of the pocket was punctuated by soft moans of delight. The chocolate banana bread-pudding elicited similar reactions. I’m coming back here to try more but I have a feeling I’d have to reorder the chocolate banana bread-pudding again in addition. Rich, thick, and heavy on the chocolate. The bread and bananas cut the chocolate so that it created a delicious balance. Lastly, the experience only cost us $9.00. How’s that for affordable treats?
